What's a digital marketing internship at Tink like? Jacqueline-Ming tells you all about it!
Eager to conclude my university journey with hands-on experience in digital marketing, I began searching for an end-of-studies internship in the field at the end of April. Tink made my wish a reality by giving me the opportunity to take my first official steps in a professional context within its communication and marketing team. Here’s a summary of these 2.5 months spent at Tink!
Why an internship at Tink?
The company quickly stood out to me, both for its range of services and its dynamic and friendly environment. This welcoming atmosphere was confirmed as soon as I arrived: I was warmly welcomed, and they really took the time to ensure my integration went smoothly. I also benefited from my colleagues' support throughout my internship, helping me successfully complete my tasks!
I also take away these three points that made this internship a truly pleasant and enriching experience for me:
- Tink operates in a sector that particularly interests me, namely information technology (IT).
- The company values the well-being of its employees by regularly organizing social activities, such as the Wellness Week, in which I actively participated in May.
- Tink offers a hybrid and flexible work model, allowing the choice between remote work and office presence, promoting an optimal balance between work and personal life.
In summary, I would say that Tink offers a stimulating internship environment, conducive to knowledge exchange and personal development!
What was your daily life like as a digital marketing intern?
I had an extremely varied daily routine, where I had the chance to get involved in several areas to explore and develop a multitude of skills.
For example, I participated in interviews, writing, and translating employee profiles for our website, which allowed me to learn more about my colleagues from different departments at Tink.
At the same time, I managed social media, where I developed my skills in creating engaging content after conducting a market audit and monitoring trends in the sector. I also contributed to writing Tink’s monthly internal newsletter, which keeps employees informed about company news and events.
Additionally, I played a role in improving internal resources for employees by contributing to the content of the Sports Calendar to promote and introduce sports activities within the company, as well as the Well-Being Space, an internal platform aimed at supporting employees' physical and mental well-being.
In short, each of my days at Tink brought its share of new challenges and opportunities, making my internship both motivating and educational! I was able to contribute to meaningful projects and try out various aspects of the job while becoming familiar with rigorous processes.
Who would you recommend this internship to?
I would recommend this internship to anyone interested in marketing and the digital field who has a thirst for learning, good organizational skills, and the ability to manage their time well. It’s the perfect internship for those who enjoy working remotely, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and most importantly, who wish to gain practical and enriching experience in a stimulating environment!
